The Central Coast Olive Oil Competition has released the results from the 2025 competition which featured premier oils produced across California. Taking home the Best of Show awards were the following:
• Best of Show Delicate – Olivaia’s Ola (Lindsay)
• Best of Show Medium – Sunshine Olive Oil (Templeton)
• Best of Show Robust – Central Coast Olive Company (Paso Robles)
• Best of Show Flavored – Corto Olive Co. (Stockton)
After calculations, Sunshine Olive Oil has been named the 2025 Olive Oil Producer of the Year. It was a close race between multiple producers, but the Templeton California family-run business had 11 total entries entered and all 11 received medals: Best of Class Picual and Best of Class Italian Blends Medium. 2 Double Golds, 8 Golds and 1 Silver. They will receive a custom-made belt buckle, dawning the Central Coast Olive Oil logo amongst an array of jewels.
All entries entered were also judged on their marketing efforts as part of the Central Coast Packaging and Design Competition.
• Best of Label – Single Bottle: Bellemuna Olive Grove
• Best of Label – Series: Calivirgin/Lodi Olive Oil
• Best of Packaging – Single Bottle: Olivaia’s Ola
• Best of Packaging – Series of Bottles: Olivaia’s Ola
